This is a documentary heritage expressing the thoughts of the Nguyen kings on the history, national independence, culture, nation-ruling conceptions and people's livelihood; a special decorative art form and unique materials in Hue ancient capital. In particular, nearly 3,000 decorative motifs here have not been found in other places in the world.

This system of literary heritage is really a lively museum, especially for literature of the Nguyen Dynasty. It conveys unique historical, cultural and artistic messages in a stage of Vietnam's recent history. With outstanding values, the poetry on Hue imperial architecture was recognized as a World Memory Heritage by the Memory of the World Committee for Asia and the Pacific on May 2016.
