2024 Vietnam- Korea Plus Partnership Week launched in HCM City
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), under the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy of South Korea (MOTIE), coordinated with several organizations to host the 2024 Vietnam-Korea Plus Partnership Week on July 16 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The weeklong event aims to promote bilateral economic cooperation and continue the series of trade and industrial promotion activities between Vietnam and South Korea. With a focus on smart and environmentally friendly industries, the event concentrates on sectors such as energy and environment, healthcare, smart agriculture, laying the foundation for a promising future economic cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.

The trade connection activity attracts the participation from over 70 Korean enterprises and approximately 150 Vietnamese businesses. Meanwhile, the conference introduces numerous projects of interest to Korean contractors and investors, attracting around 40 Korean enterprises, including well-known names such as Dohwa Engineering, Hyundai E&C, Kumho E&C, Posco E&C, Samsung (Samsung SDS, Samsung E&A), Taihan Cable & Solution.

Specifically, Mr. Lee Ji Hyung, Director in charge of economic cooperation at KOTRA, mentioned that the 2024 Vietnam-Korea Plus Partnership Week features key activities including B2B trade connections with Korean enterprises in smart industries; a conference introducing prospective ODA (Official Development Assistance) and PPP (Public-Private Partnership) projects in the Southern region; and the Korea Buying Fair 2024.

The Korea Buying Fair 2024, held from July 17-21 at Estella Place Shopping Center, showcases a diverse range of high-quality consumer goods such as food, cosmetics, healthcare, and beauty products. This event provides Vietnamese consumers, especially those who admire Korean products and culture, with an opportunity to experience and purchase quality Korean consumer goods.
The purposes of this study were to identify differences between three national groups (Chinese, Korean, and Japanese) using preferred night-time activities and attractions and preferred nighttime travel options and to examine differences in night-time activities participated in while in a particular destination (Jeju Island, South Korea) and in ratings of overall quality and satisfaction between the three national groups.
