Vinpearl Cable Car Nha Trang (Vinpearl Harbour round trip)

Description

The Vinpearl cable car is a 2.6 km line over the sea linking Cau Da pier on the Nha Trang shore with Hon Tre Island, home to Vinpearl Harbour and VinWonders. The ride takes about 8 minutes in a glass cabin at an average height of 54 m, with a full view of Nha Trang Bay; after dark the whole line is lit up and becomes one of the city's landmarks.

Opening hours: 08:30 – 22:00 daily; last ticket sale shore – island 21:45, last ride island – shore 22:00
Price: round trip VND 200,000 per person, same for all ages · children under 1 m free (official VinWonders price, may change)
Location: cable car station at Cau Da, end of Tran Phu Street – about 5 km from the Tram Huong Tower (12 – 15 minutes by car)
Suggested time: 1.5 – 2 hours for the round trip and a stroll around Vinpearl Harbour; 3 – 4 hours if you stay for the fountain show and Tata Show
Good for: families, couples, groups of friends; think twice if you are afraid of heights

TGROUP insider tips

Go early in the morning for clear water and short queues, or cross at around 17:00 – 17:30 for the sunset, watch the fountain show at 19:00 and ride back over the lit-up city. Right after the Tata Show ends (20:10) the queue back to shore is long, so either leave before it or stay 30 – 40 minutes for dinner at Vinpearl Harbour. In ride-hailing apps choose “Vinpearl Cable Car” (Cau Da station) as your destination, not “Vinpearl Harbour”, which is on the island. Every year around late October to mid-November the line usually closes for scheduled maintenance; passengers are then transferred by free speedboat from the same pier.
