Description

The Gangs Sunset is in Sunset Town at the southern end of Phu Quoc, and it lives up to the name: it opens only in the evening and fills as the sun drops towards the sea. Some travel listings give a different address such as “65 Amalfi”; we checked on Google Maps and the restaurant is inside Sunset Town.

Good to know

Opening hours: 17:00 – 24:00 daily – it does not open during the day

Nothing opens here before five in the afternoon, so a daytime wander through Sunset Town will find the doors shut. The menu is on the wall as photographs rather than in print or online, which means you cannot check prices before you arrive. Sunset shifts through the year – look up the time for your date and aim to be seated about half an hour before it.
