The Ho citadel built by Ho Quy Ly - then the prime minister during the Tran dynasty - in 1397 was a magnificent architecture due to its techniques and large stone construction art and a combination of unique construction traditions. The Citadel including inner court, moat, wall and Nam Giao sacrifice altar is considered to be the only remaining rock wall in Southeast Asia and one of the few remained in the world.
