Description

L Stand is a small coffee and tea house on Do Ba street, one block back from My Khe beach. It charges local rather than tourist prices and opens at 7am, which makes it useful either before a morning on the beach or as a place to sit out the afternoon heat. It is a compact space, better suited to two or three people than to a group.

Many Da Nang cafés do not open until 8 or 9am; this one opens at 7, which fits neatly around an early walk on My Khe before the sun gets strong. Do Ba is a narrow street where two cars barely pass, so if you are calling a taxi it is faster to meet it out on Vo Nguyen Giap.
