Sapa boasts a subtropical highland climate characterized by cool, dry winters and warm, wet summers, with temperatures ranging from 15℃ to 29℃ depending on the season

The best time to visit Sapa is in September and November when the rice terraces are at their most splendid; or in April and May when the weather is ideal and skies are clear. For those who don’t mind hot weather, June to August is a fine time to visit. Expect chilly weather from November to March.

Love seeing and enjoying the snow in Sapa? Don’t forget to come here from December 15th to January 10th – This information I heard about the locals here. However, this timeframe is not entirely precise as it depends on variable weather conditions. If you choose to travel to Sapa during this time to witness the snowfall, it also relies on your luck, as each snowfall event usually lasts around 1-2 days.
