Brilliant Top Bar sits on the 17th floor of the Brilliant Hotel on Bach Dang street. The Han River, the Dragon Bridge and the lights of the east bank all line up in one view, which is why it is one of the more reliable sunset spots in the city centre. It is a small bar rather than a club, so it suits couples, families and small groups who want a quiet drink.

Arrive 20–30 minutes before sunset and you get both the sunset and the night view. On Saturday and Sunday evenings, when the Dragon Bridge fire show runs, the outdoor river-facing tables fill up first – it is worth checking availability through the hotel reception beforehand. Take the lift from the hotel lobby; you do not need to be a guest.
