Golf Booking Policy in Vietnam
Quotations, payment, changes and cancellation
The general booking terms that apply to every golf reservation made through TGROUP — how a tee time is secured, what a rate includes, and the exact cancellation schedule.

Booking golf in Vietnam works a little differently from Japan, Korea or Thailand. Courses release their tee sheets on relatively short notice, several publish an indicative rate before confirming a final one, and caddies are compulsory. None of this is difficult once you know the sequence.
This page sets out the general terms TGROUP applies to golf reservations. It does not describe any individual venue: rates, optional service charges and local rules differ from course to course and are shown on each course page at the time of booking. We are a licensed Vietnamese tour operator with our head office in Da Lat and a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, booking directly with the venues rather than through an intermediary.
Every reservation follows the same five stages.

Published rates include the following, unless a specific page states otherwise:
✓ Included
Green fee
Caddie fee
Shared cart (2 players per cart)
✗ Not included
Caddie tip — around US$15 per 18 holes, paid in cash on the day
Single-cart supplement
Equipment rental
Transfers, unless listed
Optional services
The options most often added to a booking are a single-cart supplement, return transfers between your hotel and the venue, and equipment rental. Amounts differ by location and vehicle size and are shown on the relevant page when you select your date and party size. Equipment rental is normally settled on site.
On vehicles
Driver gratuity of about US$2 per person is paid locally. Vehicle rates assume pick-up from a city-centre hotel; outside the centre a supplement may apply. Vietnamese public holidays carry a 30% surcharge and the extended Lunar New Year period 40%. With luggage and golf bags, a 7-seater comfortably takes 1–3 players, a 16-seater 4–7, and above eight players a 29-seater. Driver details are confirmed the day before travel.
Two points here matter more than anything else on this page.
Your confirmed price is protected
Where advance bookings are restricted, TGROUP places a temporary reservation and the confirmed price remains unchanged — if the rate is raised after your booking is confirmed, you still pay what was quoted.
If your slot has to be moved
Should a tournament or special event conflict with your reserved tee time, TGROUP will reschedule the tee time or the play date, or refund all payments made in full.
Two further notes on rates and tee times
▸ Some venues confirm the final rate 30 days before play. Before that point an indicative rate applies and is labelled as such.
▸ Some venues do not allow advance tee holds at all. In that case we advise the best available slot rather than promising a specific time.
▸ Where maintenance is being carried out on a few holes, play may be routed to alternate holes so that the full round is completed.

Cancellation fees are calculated from the play date.
| Cancellation notice | Cancellation fee |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more in advance | Full refund |
| 21 – 30 days in advance | 10% fee |
| 11 – 20 days in advance | 30% fee |
| 6 – 10 days in advance | 50% fee |
| Within 5 days (play date – 5 days) | 100% fee |
How the notice period is counted
▸ The period is calculated on working days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. A cancellation sent on a Friday evening is therefore not treated as received until the next working day.
▸ Cancellations must be sent directly to TGROUP in writing or by email, and must be confirmed by TGROUP. We do not accept cancellations by telephone.
Weather
Rain in Vietnam is usually short and heavy, so rounds are rarely called off. If you choose not to travel in normal playing conditions, the round is not refunded. A weather refund requires the venue to approve the cancellation; once approved, contact us and we process the refund after receiving the credit note.
A handful of rules are set by the venues themselves and apply regardless of who made the booking.
▸ Groups of fewer than four
Local rules may pair you with other players. If no pairing is available there is no additional charge. Five-ball play is not permitted.
▸ Odd numbers
Because carts are shared two per cart, an odd number of players may incur a single-cart charge.
▸ Tee time changes
Occasionally a time is changed for operational reasons or a tournament. We inform you as soon as we are notified and offer alternatives.
▸ Weekly closing days
Some venues close on set weekdays. Check the relevant page before fixing flights.
▸ Stopping mid-round
In normal weather conditions, if you decide to stop play for personal reasons the round is not refunded.
▸ Equipment
Rental sets are generally available and settled on site. Reserve in advance during high season.
A practical timeline that avoids most problems:
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| 8–12 weeks out | Fix the region and dates. Check weekly closing days before booking flights. |
| 6–8 weeks out | Send us dates and player numbers. If the tee sheet is not yet open we register a waiting reservation. |
| 4 weeks out | Final rates are confirmed where indicative pricing was applied. |
| 30 days out | Last point at which cancellation is free of charge. |
| 1 week out | Voucher in hand. Prepare cash in dong for caddie tips. |
Current rates and availability are published in our golf directory. The terms set out above apply to every reservation made through us.

If anything on this page is unclear for your particular dates, ask us before you pay. We would rather explain the terms twice than have a guest surprised on arrival.
Send your dates and group size. We check availability and reply within 30 minutes during business hours.
Bank transfer or credit card. Voucher issued by email.
This page summarises the general golf booking and cancellation terms published by TGROUP, as at 28 July 2026. It does not describe any individual venue. Rates, optional service charges and local rules vary and are subject to change; the terms shown on the relevant page at the time of booking apply. For package products, the package booking conditions apply in addition.
A practical checklist for a golf trip to Vietnam: whether to bring clubs or rent on arrival and how bag count affects transfers, dress code conventions and what the climate demands, why caddie gratuities must be carried in cash, how to handle heat, sun, rain and pace on the day, and a preparation timeline working backwards from the first tee time.
