Vietnam golf green fees in 2026 range from roughly US$45 at small provincial courses to about US$270 at Hoiana Shores, the most expensive course in the country. Most of the courses international golfers actually play, in Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Da Lat and Phu Quoc, sit between US$80 and US$160 for 18 holes on a weekday. This guide puts the current reference rates for more than 40 courses in one place, city by city, explains what a Vietnamese green fee does and does not include, and shows what a realistic three-round trip costs so you can budget before you contact anyone.
I run TGROUP, a licensed international tour operator based in Da Lat with an office in Ho Chi Minh City. We book these courses every week for small private groups, so the figures below are drawn from our own published rate sheet as of October 2026, not from a third-party aggregator. They are reference rates: weekend, high-season and exchange-rate movements change them, and the exact price for your dates is confirmed in writing when you book.
Three things surprise first-time visitors. First, almost every course requires a caddie, and the caddie fee is normally bundled into the published green fee. A cash tip of about VND 300,000 - 500,000 (US$12 - 20) per caddie per round is customary and is not included anywhere. Second, golf carts are included at most resort courses in Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc, but several older city courses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City quote the cart separately or apply a single-rider surcharge. Third, the gap between weekday and weekend pricing is larger than in Europe or Australia: a Saturday round can cost 15 - 40% more than the same tee time on a Tuesday, and public holidays are priced as weekends.
Prices are quoted in Vietnamese dong at the course. The US dollar figures below are converted at the rate we use on our site; a 3 - 4% swing in either direction over a season is normal, which is one reason we confirm every quote in writing with the dong amount shown.
Da Nang is the most popular golf destination for international visitors and has the widest spread of prices. Ba Na Hills and BRG Legend Danang are the premium pair; Montgomerie Links is the value pick within 20 minutes of the airport; Hoiana Shores is the country’s most expensive public-access round, and Laguna Lang Co in Hue is the choice if you want a resort course away from the city.

|---|---|---|
| Ba Na Hills Golf Club | Da Nang | from US$135 |
| BRG Legend Danang Golf Resort | Da Nang | from US$135 |

Hanoi courses are generally 20 - 30% more expensive than the south, and the membership-club culture means weekend tee times for visitors are tighter. BRG Kings Island and Sky Lake are the two most requested by our overseas guests; Van Tri is the premium private-style club; Long Bien is the convenient in-city option. Ha Long and Hai Phong, two hours away, are noticeably cheaper and pair well with a bay cruise.

| Sky Lake Golf Club (Lake Course) | Hanoi | from US$155 |

Ho Chi Minh City has the best-value cluster of quality courses in the country, all within 60 - 90 minutes of District 1. Tan Son Nhat is beside the airport and is the only course offering floodlit night golf. Long Thanh, Twin Doves and Vietnam Golf & Country Club are the classic 36-hole clubs. The Bluffs at Ho Tram, two hours east, is the one course here that belongs on a world list, and it is priced accordingly.

Nha Trang is where we send most family groups: three courses within 40 minutes of each other, a 5-star beach hotel at every price point, and green fees that are 20 - 30% below Da Nang for a similar quality of layout. KN Golf Links in Cam Ranh is the standout. Phu Quoc has two courses and is best treated as a resort-and-golf combination rather than a golf-only trip.
| Course | Area | Reference green fee (18 holes, weekday) |
|---|---|---|
| KN Golf Links Cam Ranh | Nha Trang | from US$100 |
| Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang | Nha Trang | from US$85 |

Da Lat sits at 1,500 m, so it is the only place in Vietnam where you can play comfortably at midday in July. Green fees are the lowest of any major destination and the three courses are 20 - 40 minutes apart. Da Lat Palace, opened in the 1920s, is the historic course; SAM Tuyen Lam is the modern lakeside layout; The Dalat at 1200 is the quiet mountain option. Our head office is here, so this is the destination we know best.
| Course | Area | Reference green fee (18 holes, weekday) |
|---|---|---|
| Da Lat Palace Golf Club | Da Lat | from US$80 |
| SAM Tuyen Lam Golf Club | Da Lat | from US$80 |
| The Dalat at 1200 Country Club | Da Lat | from US$65 |

Using the reference rates above, a weekday three-round trip looks like this before hotels, flights and transfers. These are the numbers we use when a guest asks for a quick sanity check before requesting a formal quote.
| Trip | Courses | Green fees, 3 rounds |
|---|---|---|
| Da Nang premium | Ba Na Hills + Legend Danang + Montgomerie | about US$380 |
| Nha Trang family | KN Golf Links + Vinpearl + Diamond Bay | about US$285 |
| Ho Chi Minh value | Tan Son Nhat + Long Thanh + Twin Doves | about US$295 |
| Hanoi classic | Kings Island + Sky Lake (Lake) + Legend Hill | about US$410 |
| Da Lat cool climate | Palace + SAM Tuyen Lam + The Dalat at 1200 | about US$225 |
Add roughly US$40 - 60 per person for caddie tips across three rounds, and US$60 - 120 per person for private transfers depending on the distances involved. A 3-night, 3-round package with a 4- or 5-star hotel, private vehicle and airport transfers from TGROUP typically lands between US$600 and US$1,100 per golfer sharing, which is why most of our guests ask for the package rather than booking rounds one by one.

If you can play Monday to Friday, do. The saving on three rounds at Da Nang’s premium courses is roughly US$120 - 180 per person, enough to pay for the private transfers. Season matters less for the green fee itself than for availability: the dry season in central Vietnam (February to August) and the northern spring and autumn (March - April, October - November) are when the good tee times go first, and that is when booking 4 - 8 weeks ahead actually matters. Courses in Da Nang and Hoi An also raise rates during the Lunar New Year week.
Most Vietnam golf packages sold online are joined departures: you are grouped with strangers to fill a vehicle, the courses are fixed, and the tee times are whatever the operator was allocated. The headline price is low because the transfer cost is split eight ways. TGROUP does not sell joined tours. We work with couples, families and groups of friends, usually two to eight golfers, and price each trip for that group: your own vehicle and driver, courses in the order you want them, tee times that suit how you like to travel, and a bilingual coordinator who answers the phone. For a group of four this usually costs 10 - 20% more than the cheapest joined price you will find, and nothing more than that, because the green fees themselves are the same rates listed above. What you are paying for is control over your own days.

Send us the dates, the number of golfers and the courses or city you are considering by WhatsApp or email. We reply with a written quote showing the green fee in dong and US dollars for each round, what is included at that specific course, the cart and caddie policy, and the cancellation terms. Once you confirm, the tee time is booked in your name and we send the course confirmation to you directly. We hold international tour operator licence No. 68-025/2019/TCDL-GP LHQT and have been booking golf in Vietnam since 2019.
How much is a round of golf in Vietnam?
At the main tourist destinations, US$80 - 160 for 18 holes on a weekday in 2026, caddie included. Provincial courses start around US$45; Hoiana Shores is about US$270.
Is a caddie compulsory in Vietnam?
At almost every course, yes. The caddie fee is normally inside the green fee. A tip of VND 300,000 - 500,000 (US$12 - 20) per round is customary and is paid in cash.
Are golf carts included?
At most resort courses in Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Da Lat, yes. Several Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City clubs charge separately or apply a single-rider surcharge; we state this on every quote.
Which Vietnamese city has the cheapest golf?
Da Lat for a major destination (about US$65 - 80 per round), followed by Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi is the most expensive region on average.
How far in advance should I book?
Four to eight weeks for weekend tee times in peak months, two to three weeks for weekdays. Last-minute weekday bookings are often possible outside holiday periods.
Can I rent clubs?
Yes, at every course listed here, for roughly US$25 - 50 per set. Quality varies; tell us your preferred brand and we will check what the course has before you travel.
Do green fees include VAT?
The rates we publish are the prices you pay; Vietnam’s VAT and the special consumption tax on golf are already inside the course’s quoted fee.
Every booking you make with us is backed by a Vietnamese travel licence and a government-held deposit, so you are dealing with a registered operator, not a reseller.
