Leading up to SITMMT 2024, international delegates had the opportunity to participate in a special FAM Tour, exploring Seoul's top medical destinations. The SITMMT FAM Tour provided international delegates with a comprehensive overview of South Korea's healthcare system and culture. Delegates could choose from three diverse programs, including: exploring the natural beauty of Bugaksan Mountain, experiencing traditional Korean medicine, visiting leading modern hospitals, and even engaging in traditional cultural activities such as crafting and meditation. Each program was designed to showcase the strengths of Korea's medical industry, from advanced medical technologies to natural healing methods, coupled with opportunities to experience the unique culture of Korea.
More than 300 domestic and international businesses, including 60 delegates from 20 countries, participated in the event to promote medical tourism in Seoul

On November 11, five general hospitals (Kyung Hee University Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital Seoul, Asan Medical Center Seoul, Severance Hospital, and Chung-Ang University Hospital), partners of Seoul Medical Tourism, hosted the "Seoul Medical Tourism Information Session."
Various exhibition booths and experiential activities at the event provided delegates with a better understanding of Seoul's medical and tourism services.
In addition to traditional markets, this year's event attracted delegates from the Middle East and European countries, opening up new cooperation opportunities for Seoul's medical tourism industry.
The event facilitated meetings, exchanges, and contract signings between domestic and international businesses. With over 1,700 pre-arranged meetings, the conference achieved positive results.
Through SITMMT 2024, Seoul has solidified its position as an attractive and reliable medical destination. With the results achieved, the city's medical tourism industry is poised for continued strong growth in the future.
