Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve with an area of 15,526.05ha, is located in Dien Bien village, Son Lang commune, KBang district, Gia Lai province. With the coverage up to 98.5%, Kon Chu Rang is an place providing effectively some forms of forest environmental services.

According to statistics, Kon Chu Rang is the home of 881 species of higher plants including 23 listed in the Red List, 83 species of mammals, 228 species of birds, 161 species of butterflies, 72 species of amphibian reptiles. Also, the Reserve also has many beautiful streams and waterfalls such as 3-floors waterfall, 5-floors waterfall, 50-waterfall, 40-waterfall, Trai Dam waterfall, etc with the height of 20m 50m, yearly clear white foam, which is suitable for developing some types of picnic and sightseeing tours, research tourism.
