Vietnam Multi-City Golf Trip 2026: Combining Two Regions in One Itinerary

A Vietnam multi-city golf trip means playing two golf regions inside one itinerary instead of staying in a single destination. As of 21 August 2026, TGROUP publishes nine regional golf packages ranging from US$410.73 (Quy Nhon, 3 days 2 nights) to US$840.13 (Hanoi, 4 days 3 nights), and the most common two-region combinations fall between US$1,157 and US$1,531 when the two published package rates are added together, before domestic flights. This guide sets out which pairings work, how the days are sequenced, what the combined rates are, and how the booking is handled.

TGROUP TRADE & TRAVEL JSC is a Vietnam-based operator holding international tour operator licence No. 68-025/2019, specialising in small-group, private and family vietnamgolftour arrangements. Every rate quoted below is taken directly from our own published product pages, not estimated.

Which two regions should be combined in one Vietnam multi-city golf trip?

The practical constraint is not distance on a map but whether the two destinations are linked by road or require a domestic flight. Pairings inside the same corridor cost you a transfer; pairings across the country cost you a flight and roughly half a playing day.

PairingLink between the twoCombined published rateSuits
Da Nang + Hoi AnSame central coastal corridor, road transferUS$690.77 + US$571.29 = US$1,262.06First-time visitors wanting maximum golf, minimum travel

Ho Chi Minh City + Phu QuocDomestic flightUS$825.19 + US$522.75 = US$1,347.94City golf plus an island finish
Hanoi + Da NangDomestic flightUS$840.13 + US$690.77 = US$1,530.90North and centre in one visit, longer stays

The combined figures above are the arithmetic sum of two published package rates as listed on 21 August 2026. They do not include domestic flights, international flights, or the reduction that normally applies when two packages are merged into a single continuous itinerary. A merged itinerary is quoted individually.

How is a two-region itinerary sequenced day by day?

The example below merges the Da Nang 4 days 3 nights package with the Hoi An 3 days 2 nights package into one seven-day stay. The same skeleton applies to a flight-linked pairing, with the transfer day replaced by a morning flight.

DAY 1
Arrival and settling in
Airport meet-and-greet, private transfer, hotel check-in. No round is scheduled on arrival day; long-haul arrivals rarely play well the same afternoon.
DAYS 2–3
First region, two rounds
Morning tee times on consecutive days, afternoons free. Playing the first region first keeps the heavier travel day away from your opening rounds.
DAY 4
Transfer day
Road transfer to the second base, or a short domestic flight. A late-afternoon round can be added if the transfer is by road and the tee sheet allows.
DAYS 5–6
Second region, two rounds
Two further morning rounds on courses of a different character – links-style versus parkland, or coastal versus highland.
DAY 7
Departure
Optional early round or free morning, then transfer to the airport in line with your outbound flight.
Seven days is the shortest realistic length for two regions with four rounds. Below seven days, one region with three rounds gives better value because the transfer day is not spent on travel. Package durations are listed on our golf package page.

Questions we are asked most often

Is a multi-city trip cheaper than booking two separate trips? On the published rates it is simply the sum of the two packages. The saving comes from one set of international flights and one arrival and departure transfer rather than two.
Are domestic flights included in the rates above? No. Domestic flights between regions are quoted separately once dates are fixed, because fares vary by date and carrier.
What is the minimum group size?TGROUP arranges private itineraries from two players. We do not merge separate parties into a shared group.
Can non-golfing partners join the same itinerary?Yes. Non-playing companions are commonly included, with alternative daytime arrangements while the group is on course.
Can three regions be combined instead of two?It is possible, but ten days or more is needed for it to be worthwhile. Below that, travel days start to outnumber playing days.
